Being a descendant of the Uzumaki clan, Naruto inherited an incredibly strong life-force. This gives him extraordinary stamina and vitality, and by extension, an equally long potential lifespan, which enabled him to survive the cell-destroying effects of Kurama's hatred within its chakra several times. Despite his young age, Naruto has been repeatedly noted to have a massive reserve of exceptionally strong chakra, to which Kakashi, estimated it to be at least four times greater than his own during their initial missions together as Team 7.^[65] As Naruto grew older, his reserves increased greatly, reaching the point where he could undergo senjutsu training and enter Sage Mode. Additionally, his chakra was described by Karin to be warm and bright, exactly opposite to Sasuke's.^[66]

Initially, Naruto had very poor chakra control, in part due to how Kurama's chakra interfered with his own, though this was not much of a problem due to Naruto's immense reserves.^[67] Eventually with extensive training with Ebisu and later Jiraiya, Naruto started to exert greater control of his chakra. A testament to this is shown in the Fourth Great Shinobi World War, where after learning the technique from Kurama, Naruto had become quite skilled in using the Chakra Transfer Technique. Using it while in Tailed Beast Mode, Naruto is able to transfer 'Version 1' cloaks to an entire army of shinobi in a short amount of time with the help of his shadow clones. According to Kakashi, the chakra is far stronger than it was when Kurama transferred its chakra to him before, which was three times as much as Kakashi's normal limit.^[68] Not only that, Kurama said Naruto's skill in this technique even surpasses his father since he can transform the chakra to meet each shinobi's chakra type while sensing it, thus making the link between the chakra, himself, and Kurama even larger, hence the 'Version 1' cloak that the shinobi gain.^[69] Kurama even said that only Naruto is capable of using its chakra this properly, since he's an Uzumaki and the fact that he's been a jinchūriki his whole life.^[70]
